Born in France, in Paris in 1982, also having German Swiss origins and roots.

 

I continued my primary, secondary and college (pre-university) education in France mainly in private educational establishments. I continued my general pre-university academic training specializing in pure sciences and more specifically in Mathematics in an integrated manner within a general engineering school (that is to say, which offers business training in a teaching framework specific to engineering schools).

I continued this training in 2003 at the École polytechnique de Montréal in electrical engineering with a study visa. I then applied to obtain my permanent residence (2006), then my Canadian citizenship (end of 2009).

 

In 2008, I incorporated my first commercial company in Canada, whose object was in the field of 'youth development' to work on improving the offer of early childhood educational services, one hand by providing them with services and tools to simplify and reduce the cost and workload of employees in order to concentrate their resources on direct services to children, and on the other hand by assisting them in the development of educational programs.

 

At the same time as this professional activity, I started to invest in residential real estate for rental purposes. I also always, from time to time, accepted missions of 'strategic development' within small and medium private companies, working directly on behalf of their owners.

 

In the same time, I became interested in diversifying my income by gradually becoming a 'swing trader'.

Today, I still continue some of these activities, and I now have the chance to live from direct and indirect incomes from them.

​

Moved to Baie-d'Urfé in early 2016 with my partner at the time and her young son then aged 2, I decided to put aside my non-essential professional activities in order to devote myself to my family life, and more specifically raising this young little boy who was then attending the Alexander von Humboldt German School, and keeping me busy with my time and energy consuming dog Geist.

 

My family situation like the one of many people these days changed overnight. So, faced with the fact that I had to move forward in life, and therefore in my case find new projects to occupy myself and make myself useful on a daily basis, I then committed to new business projects and new opportunities. However, I also took the opportunity to see how I can make myself useful (in my own way) within my community. It was then that I, with the assistance of other residents of Baie-d'Urfé, created the Collectif des actions et clubs communautaire et social Baie-d'Urfé - or CACCS BAIE-D'URFÉ -, a non-profit organization, in order to support and give the opportunity to citizens who so wish to come together to participate in what is important to them or to participate in organized and respectful advocacy with municipal authorities.

This last experience opened up my personal interest in the follow-up of municipal politics in which I have participated as a private citizen in recent years.

​

Today, I think I want to go further in municipal politics, because I think that my atypical experience and skills, as well as the available time that I have, could favorably serve my fellow citizens and more generally the Town of Baie-d'Urfé. and its unique community of which I am extremely proud to be a part of.
