Although I am actually rentier, and many people will say that it is not a professional activity, I think in my case it is one because work is necessary and even essential to ensure the sustainability of my income. Indeed, property management (administrative, financial, and human) is in itself an activity. Just as is the time spent keeping track of stock markets and keeping up with the latest news that could affect them – not to mention the time spent conducting the financial transactions themselves.
Moreover, when opportunities arise, I complete my everyday professional activity as a stock market investor-freelancer and real estate investor-freelancer by complementary professional activities.
